Full Description
April 1978. Metal detecting. Medieval bronze seal found on surface of ploughed field. Seal depicts lamb with flag with inscription 'Ecce Agnus Dei'.
In this area, known locally as the Dolphin after an inn said to have stood here. Considerable quantities of medieval glazed and unglazed, post medieval sherds. 16th/early 17th century German bronze jetton.

Informant say finds identified by by A. Rogerson (NAU), given to NCM in 1978; no card received.
April-May 1980. Metal detecting in ploughsoil.
Field south of railway line, between two level crossings.
Three sherds Grimston green glazed, medieval(?), bronze belt hook. Three Roman bronze bow-brooches, including one Colchester derivative. Barbarous radiate coin, and irregular Fel Temp issue.
One brooch and belt-hook to NCM. Other finds with finder.
