Summary

A Second World War type 22 pillbox can be seen as an extant structure on aerial photographs. The feature is still extant, although partially covered by vegetation, on recent (2017) aerial photographs. The pillbox has also been recorded from field visits.

A Second World War type 22 pillbox can be seen as an extant structure on aerial photographs (S3-S4). The feature is still extant, although partially covered by vegetation, on recent (2017) aerial photographs (S4). The feature also appears to be obscured by vegetation on the 1940s (S2) aerial photographs.
