Summary
A medieval copper alloy seal matrix with the inscription S SUBSIDII PANOR IN COM ESSEX (subsidy of cloth for county of Essex) was recovered in one of the Pulham parishes in the 1820s. The exact location and nature of this discovery are unclear.

Seal found 'at Pulham'.
S SUBSIDII PANOR IN COM ESSEX (subsidy of cloth for county of Essex).
Finder was named P.N. Scott, discovered in 1820s.
Impression and note inside rear cover of (S1).
