A. Gregory (NAU), 1978.

January 2002. Norfolk NMP.
Cropmarks of a possible double ditched trackway/road are visible and have been mapped. The cropmarks are quite faint, and appear to be showing in reverse on RAF June 1946 aerial photographs (S1), but are a little clearer and not reversing on RAF images from just a month later (S2). It runs from ca. NGR TF7298 4263 to TF7276 4228. It is about 370m in length and the two parallel ditches appear to be just under 20m apart.
The date and origin of this track/road are unknown.
H. Clare (NMP), 29 April 2002.
