Summary

A post medieval lime kiln, marked on a map of 1836. Part of it remains as a curved portion of brick and stone walling in the east side of an overgrown pit.

29 November 1979. Visit.
In east side of overgrown pit, part of curving wall projects from earth partly of early 19th century brick and partly of shaped stone blocks (reused?). Probably a brick kiln.

No, marked as lime kiln on (S1), 1836.

As of 1992 only a small amount of brickwork remains.
