Summary

This red brick building dates to the 17th or 18th century. The west gable has a moulded string course between the two floors and moulded window frames. The thatched roof with tall chimney is divided into four quadrants. A 19th century extension has been added to the south.

17th century? red brick (listed as 18th century). West gable has moulded string course between two floors, moulded window frames and illegible plaque. Thatched roof with tall chimney divided into four quadrants. 19th century south extention. Good condition.

Listing Description:
House, 18th century with 19th century south wing. Red brick; reed-thatched roof. 1½ storeys, T-shaped plan. Casement windows, mainly 20th century. Large ground and first floor window openings in gables with moulded brick drip moulds. Parapeted east and west gables with brick tumbling: moulded brick eaves oversailing and copings. Moulded string course. Stone tablet in moulded brick surround in west gable. Curved porch in south-west angle. First floor oriel window in south gable. Central chimney stack with four square attached shafts. 20th century lean-to's on north side. Eyebrow dormer on north.
