Map

(S1) shows small rectangular enclosures and double linear feature, probably a roadway.
Seen on (S1) by A. Gregory (NAU)

(S1) seen 26 July 1994 by E. Rose (NLA), D. Gurney (NLA) and D. Edwards (NLA)
Rectangular enclosure at west end of field, and droveway across field, seem convincing, but other earthworks appear to be field boundaries and drains.
E. Rose (NLA) 26 July 1994.

May 2026. HER Enhancement: Forestry Commission Project K.
Earthworks which may relate to medieval to post medieval settlement features and paddocks, are visible on the 1946 digital mapping layer (S2) and on visualised lidar data from survey flown in 2018 (S3).
