Map

June 1978. Found in bottom of footing trench dug for extension of Loddon Secondary School, about 80cm in depth in clean sand.
Iron spearhead, slender socket and ogival blade. Roman or Early Saxon.
Site visited by A. Rogerson (NAU) but no other finds or features.
Possibly came from thick layer of imported rubble in side of trench.
