Full Description
September 1951. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Former house, now offices. Late 17th/early 18th century. Set back from road. Red brick with blue headers. Moulded brick string course at floor level. Steep black glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends, south end with shaped gable. Two storeys. Six windows...Brick chimney stacks. Wing at rear with double gables.
Including wing to right (north-east) projecting to street: early 19th century, red brick, black glazed pantile roof with gable end facing street, two storeys, two-light casements…"

Early 17th century house, chequered brickwork, 6 bays, 2 storeys with string course between; 2 upper windows blocked. Shaped gable to south, straight to north, and 2 rear (west) wings with straight gables and several blocked windows. Long outbuilding to street on north, similar brickwork but probably 18th century.

Large house, probably late 17th century, some possible suggestions of an earlier origin but interior all plain. North crosswing about 1780, commercial origin.
