September 1951. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Public house, 18th-century red brick encasing earlier, probably late medieval structure. Red brick. Hipped black glazed pantile roof with modillion eaves cornice. Three storeys. Five windows...Central wide restored doorway with fluted pilasters and Doric entablature and double doors with fielded panels. Rear door with moulded architrave and pulvinated frieze and cornice. Wing at rear, plastered timber frame and painted brick, pantile roof with gable end, two storeys and attic; casement windows."

Fine Georgian, 5 bays, 3 storeys (top smaller), ground floor altered. Central doorway. Dentilled cornice.
