Full Description
14 May 1964.
'Broken flint axehead…was found in field Hingham ordnance number 26 near the southwest boundary fence nearer the Hingham side of the field'. Letter from [1] in file under HER 8889.
Is this a correction for site 8889, or is it a different axe? It cannot be a mistake for Hardingham field 26, as that number applies to an old pit or pond at Danemoor Green.
