Map

Timber framed clay building, of two storeys and attics. South façade has four windows on upper storey, five on lower, with easternmost at a different angle, suggesting perhaps an addition; or a subsidence!
West brick gable stepped; appears to be a late rebuild.
Exterior appearance suggests 17th century.
E. Rose (NAU), 26 July 1978.

Listing 1983 (S1) states originally L-shaped, central stack and stair. Also dates as 17th century but mentions single roll-moulded beams in bar, which would suggest late 16th century.
E. Rose (NAU), 13 June 1983.
