Summary

In 1970, a mound in a garden was suggested as a possible (but unlikely) site of a windmill. Underneath the mound a post medieval pottery jar was found.

1970? Shangri-La, Norwich Road.
Found in garden of cottage. 1.8m (6 feet) thick on sandy soil, suggested as wind mill. Beneath them (total depth 3m or 10 feet), Delft-type drug (ointment) jar.
