Map

In file, list of coins found in 'Narborough Hall Gardens', with 'One or two in a garden at Westacre' (unspecified).
Coins of Claudius, Tetricus I and II, Licinivs, Helena, Constantine II, Constans, Constantius II, Valens, Gratian, and other 3rd to 4th century types.
Where was exact location of finds? Near hill fort?

Or could these really be from Narford Hall gardens, strays from NHER 3960?
The present gardens of Narborough Hall are north of the hall, and the finds, if from Narborough, would be from the area of the grid reference.
It should be noted that a collection of coins was kept in the hall in the 18th/19th centuries.
E. Rose (NAU), 31 July 1980.
