Summary

In 1978 a Bronze Age Collared urn was found in the side of a trench dug at this location to lay a gas pipe. This urn was complete and contained burnt human and animal bones.

February 1978. Stray Find.
Found in side of pipe trench 20m south of gas governor box:
Bronze Age Collared urn, complete and containing burnt bones.
Left on surface by workmen and sherds not found by A. Lawson (NAU) and A. Gregory (NAU) until August. Subsequently donated to Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1978.421).
