Civil Parish TROWSE WITH NEWTON, SOUTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

Terrace of three houses has over doorway of central one a plaque 1545 CG with other symbols; certainly genuine. On post office at south end corbel in form of angel. Exterior of building seems 19th century; some studding in passage at
north end but not old; no suggestion of anything older. Plaque and corbel reset? Corbel from church?
Seen by E. Rose (NAU), 27 September 1978.
