Full Description
1978 or before. Stray Find.
Several prehistoric worked flints found in garden of 7 The Towers. These were brought to the King's Lynn Museum where they were identified as comprising:
1 unfinished "slug knife" (4.5cm long by 1.5cm wide, rounded one end, the other apparently unfinished - some cortex remaining. Unpatinated grey flint.
2 microliths or waste flakes, light fawn, c. 3cm long. Other similar flakes had apparently been found here previously.

Finds from this site, presumably including those described above, were subsequently given to the King's Lynn Museum (KILLM : 1985.180). This small assemblage was examined by J. J. Wymer (NAU), who identified:
1 microlithic core.
2 blades (these probably the possible microliths that had previously been examined)
4 flakes, including one with edge retouch.
1 spall, broken and burnt.
