Listed building description 1988 Grade II dates as early 17th century. L-shaped plan. Remains of rendered windows are in projecting left hand bay, and behind lean-to of recent date. Building much altered in 1800s when subdivided into three and outside material brought in, including a door allegedly from the Bell Hotel Norwich. Interior of central section, now called Oak Cottage, inspected by E. Rose (NLA) February 2000. Difficult to form any conclusions now but clearly it is part of a 17th century house.
See report in file (S1).
E. Rose (NLA), 21 February 2000.
