1977. Found at 15 Hargham Road.
Found in garden rakings, possibly from amongst clay lump blocks removed from house wall.
Clay pipe figurine, face missing, holding book and parasol or key. Probably late 15th century religious figure, possibly Dutch import, perhaps St Sitha or St Sythe (St Osyth).

House located in apex between Hargham Road and Leys Lane. Exterior is 19th century brick and flint with small clay lump extension.
