Full Description
House, basically 17th century but with central chimney askew to line of house: perhaps reconstructed in 18th century with original timbers.
See (S1).
November 2002.
Only the stack and part of the wall remain of this house. Visit, and rexamination of (S1), suggets that in fact the building represented an open hall and two-storeyed parlour - perhaps a late example, of the 17th century - with service cell gone, raised in height with upper floor in hall and new stack around 1700.
See (S2).
E. Rose (NLA), 25 November 2002.
