Summary

Metal detecting in 1978 and 2017 recovered a medieval coin; a medieval 'Bishop Boy' token (probably from Bury St Edmunds) and a number of other medieval and medieval/post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include medieval dress accessories and a rotary key and medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments.

Halfpenny of Edward I? 1272-1307. London Mint.
Also 'Boy Bishop' lead token, 13th to 14th century probably from Bury St Edmunds; one side has cross and dots copied from contemporary silver half-groat. The other depicts bishop's crozier and mitre.
