Summary

Later 17th century brick and flint house, perhaps incorporating some older features. The façade and brickwork details of the exterior indicate a late 17th century date, but it is possible that these encase parts of an earlier property.

Map

October 1983. Visit.

In the farmyard an outbuilding bears a plaque 'WRP 1808'.
The owners report that foundations are buried under the lawn immediately to the west of the house, so perhaps earlier features visible within the house have been reused from a dismantled house nearby.
See (S1) for further details.
