Summary
This field is called 'Moated Hill' on the 1840s tithe map of Ingham. There are no cropmarks, earthworks or soilmarks visible on aerial photographs.

Full Description
This field is named on (S1) as 'Moated Hill'. See also Moathill Plantation to north, not there on tithe map. Nor are the
dykes which otherwise might be thought to give the field its name.

Examination of aerial photographs did not reveal any earthworks or cropmarks in this area.
