Full Description
November 1959. Listed, Grade II*.
Listing Description excerpt:
"House. Late 18th century. Red brick house with slate hipped roof and moulded wood eaves cornice. Two storeys. Central porch with Tuscan columns supporting entablature with dentilled cornice…three moulded stone steps. Left hand wing one storey, red brick, gable-ended slate roof, round-headed doorway, with semi-circular fanlight with radial bars and flush panelled door."

Five bays, two storeys, central bay projects with Tuscan porch and pediment above.
Red brick; hipped slate roof.
Built in about 1790? Very good condition.

This house was in fact built in 1746 on the site of the Black Horse public house. It may have been since refaced. Information from the Hingham Society.
