Full Description
November 1978. Visit.
South end of Manson Green. Pasture covered in earthworks.
Irregular mounds up to 1m high. No discernible pattern overall; northwest to southeast channel at south end may only be drainage, but others are far too large for this.
Possibly also a curving road course cutting off the corner of the road junction.
See NHER 11523 for Manson Deserted Medieval Village which Ordnance Survey claimed was not at Manson Green.
E. Rose (NAU), 30 November 1978.
May 1998. Earthworks under pasture grazed by cattle.
H. Paterson (A&E), 30 November 1998.
