Civil Parish WALSINGHAM, NORTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

Possible alternative site suggested by R. R. Clarke (NCM) for AD 1658 urn cemetery mentioned by Sir Thomas Browne.
For full details see NHER 2030. Yet Browne's reference clearly says in 'a field at Old (=Great) Walsingham'. So why does Clarke suggest a field in this parish?

1989. Fieldwalking.
Rusticated greyware Roman sherd.
