Summary

Prehistoric flint flakes and a blade, together with fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery were found on the surface of a field in 1978.

Autumn 1978. On surface of north side field.
Medieval sherds, thirteen rims, one handle; one sherd decorated with applied thumb strip and one sherd Grimston green glaze, 12th/15th century.
Also late medieval/Transitional 15th/16th century wares, 18th/19th century sherds
and tile.

Also three flint struck flakes and a backed blade.
