Full Description
1978? Northwest of Ickburgh church.
Originally described as Mundford or Bealings, Suffolk.
Gilt bronze pendant decorated with animal heads and interlace in style II, (S1).
Cast and photograph NCM.
Offered for sale to NCM by [1] who later withdrew offer on 'finder's instructions'.
1983.
[2] told A. Gregory (NAU) that he had found the object at above grid reference and that it had been sold through a London dealer. The Bealings provenance was apparently nothing more than a conjecture by A. Lawson (NAU).
