Summary

During 1979-80 part of a Neolithic polished flint axehead, Neolithic flint flakes and scrapers and sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from this site.

1979. Near field boundary. Surface of wheat drilled field.
Blade fragment of polished flint axe (perhaps chipped and polished, but too fragmentary to tell).
Information to NCM, 8 May 1979.

Spring 1980. Drilled surface.
Nine flakes and three scrapers. Four sherds including one, rim medieval wares.
