Belvedere Breck.

Pre 1961. Stray Find. [1].
A number of prehistoric worked flints were recovered in this field by Mr Parrott during the earlier part of the 20th century. These include:
1 Neolithic part-polished flint axehead, 1 nosed scraper and 1 flaked flint adze.
1 Late Neolithic/Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged arrowhead.
These objects were identified by F. Healy when the Parrott Collection was on loan to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1961.142). Information from (S1). These finds are also listed in (S2). The bulk of the Parrott Collection is now believed to be housed at Weeting Primary School.

It is noted on (S3) that the Parrott Collection also includes a Palaeolithic flint handaxe from this site (both this NHER number and a correct grid reference are listed). This object had apparently been identified and drawn by P. Robins (NCM), but it appears that the NHER previously had no record of this find.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 11 February 2016.

Grid reference corrected by F. Healy (NAU), February 1988.
Information from (S1).

1953. Stray Find. [2].
1 Neolithic flint scraper.
Identified by P. Robins (NCM), 17 February 1997. See description in file.
W. Milligan (NCM) 18 February 1997.

Before 1 January 2024. Metal-detecting. [3].
1 post-medieval token.
Information from PAS import.
Extended to whole field. Previous extent recorded as Context 1.
P. Watkins (HES), 1 March 2024.
