Summary

At some time prior to 1954 an Early Neolithic flint leaf arrowhead was recovered by chance in this area. Metal-detecting between 1989 and 2025 recovered medieval and post medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including Roman brooches and an awl; a medieval probable brooch and a post-medieval silver cufflink.

Penny of Edward III 1369-1377 York mint, quatrefoil in centre of reverse, EDWARD XX REX ANGLI ET post treaty coin England-France.
Also another two coins of Edward III one of which is London mint, i.m. trefoil.
Roman 2nd century equal ended enamel brooch with zoomorphic terminals.

Post-medieval silver cufflink, each element of which has a bust likely to depict Charles II.

This silver cufflink was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2020 T310) and returned to the finder.
