Full Description
1978-9. Field west of Lowroad Plantation. Found in fieldwalking Swaffham bypass route.
Context 1. Scatter over whole field. Bronze chain link. One burnt flint. Six flint flakes. Two fragments slag. One medieval coarseware sherd. One glazed Grimston ware sherd. Four stoneware sherds. Five post medieval sherds.
Context 2. Concentration of flints including: Four burnt flints. One fragment slag. One clay pipe stem. Fifteen flint flakes. One flint scraper.

Context 3. Along bypass line across field after toposoil removed. Eight flint flakes. Three flint scrapers. Two post medieval sherds.
