November 1974. Field Observation.
Well discovered during construction of extension to Working Men's Club (51 King Street). Examined by Great Yarmouth Archaeological Society. Described as 15th century, 'narrow, 30' [9.1m] deep with only 3' [91cm] of water. Only rubble and a modern coin were found at the base.
