Full Description
OS air photograph.
Cropmark of ring ditch approximately 39m in diameter. Ditch very wide, appearing to be around 5m in width. Plotted on NAU overlay sheet for [1], July 1979.

No surface traces.

Late September 1989. Found with metal detector in area of ring ditch. [2].
Early Saxon mount, cast bronze, depticts a human face, flanked by bird's heads. Is there trace of continuation of strip from top of head. Tiny rivets through bird's eyes.
