Summary

This is the site of a brick kiln marked on Faden's map of 1797. There has been no record of evidence for brick working in this area, and Faden may have mistaken this site for the kiln at site NHER 8949.

Informant states he has never found any remains of brickworking in this wood, nor are any marked on the estate maps.
He wonders if this is a Faden mistake for site NHER 8949.
