Summary

The site of a post medieval windmill, shown on Faden's map of 1797, which was blown over in 1915. The surviving round house is visible on aerial photographs from 1999 but obscured by vegetation on more recent aerial photographs

Grid reference corrected by [1] who states that Faden is incorrect. It was east of Mill Road. The roundhouse of this post mill remains. Blown over in 1915.

The surviving round house associated with the above post medieval post mill is visible on aerial photographs from 1999 (S2) but obscured by vegetation on more recent aerial photographs (for example S3). It is likely that the ruined round house still survives beneath the area of vegetation.
