Full Description
Found before 1735.
Medieval dagger with crowned rose on blade; penknife and bodkin. Recorded by (S1) as sold by a Mr. Davison of North Elmham as having been found in a glass urn; but in truth having been found in digging a ditch.
Blomefield confuses both accounts and puts under Spong Hill.
E. Rose (NAU), 16 October 1979.
