Summary

This 16th century cottage was enlarged during the 17th century. An examination of the exterior shows that the height of the roof was raised in the 19th century.

Cottage. Ground floor of flint, contains small blocked windows, one with mullion. Probably 16th to 17th century. Remainder 18th to 19th century rebuilding.

16th century two cells, third cell added 17th century raised in 19th century. Fossil quoins between bays two and three. Gable end chimneystacks, right-hand gable with two hoodmoulded attic lights and diaper work. Door at rear blocked, in line with front door. Interior; left hand ground floor room with heavy chamfered beams and run out stops; bressumer has bar stop. Right hand beam has slightly chamfered bressumer with bevelled ogee and nick stop.
