Map

16 June 1973. Ordnance Survey air photography.
Positive cropmarks.
Rectangular enclosure and various linear features.
D. Voisey (NLA), 11 August 1995.

Earthworks and cropmarks.
Apparently a large rectangle with annexes to south, and perhaps another partly seen to east.
Visited by B. Cushion (NLA) who says 'confusing - but at least partly genuine'.
From air photograph they may be drainage earthworks, but quite possibly not. Any connection with moated site to southeast (NHER 8879)?
E. Rose (NAU) 2 November 1979.

Extensive drainage work carried out by new owners.
No earthwork visible on ground.
H. Paterson (A&E) 21 April 1997.
