Full Description
Wind pump marked on 6 inch OS.
Barton Wind Mill marked on Faden's map 1797.
Nothing remains here now (visited 1978).
Probably originally a wind mill later converted to raise water from a well.

Correct, a Hercules wind pump was situated in remains of roundhouse of post mill, of which last miller died in 1896.
