Summary

In 1990 a small number of objects, including Roman and medieval coins and tokens and a medieval buckle fragment, were recovered from this location. Earlier a damaged quernstone fragment was also recovered.

Short cross farthing. Reverse with the +NIC[.. Mark, indicating Nicole moneyer.
Short cross halfpenny. Reverse marked ...ON.EXE. Indicating the Exeter mint.
Edward I penny. Durham mint.
French jetton 15th century. Obverse depicting the Shield of France ancient AVE MARIA GRACIA PL.
Medieval buckle frame fragment with sheet buckle plate and four rivets. Iron tongue.
