NHER 15465 (Find Spot record) - Late Iron Age/Roman and medieval finds

1979. Stray Find.
Found on field surface by hedge at [1]:
1 medieval rim sherd with thumbed decoration (not seen NCM).

Pre 1993. Stray Find.
In 2006 the Norwich Castle accessioned a bag of 28 medieval pottery sherds that had probably been recovered at or near this site (NWHCM : 2006.585). These sherds were with Iron Age sherds known to have been found nearby (NHER 15464, which has no mention of medieval material) and are associated with a map suggesting that they had been recovered at [2], relatively close to the mapped location of NHER 15465.
One sherd is a rim with thumbed decoration and could therefore be the object found in 1979.
A bag containing small lumps of ?daub is marked 'Tibenham' and '1993' is presumed to be from the same site.
