Full Description
September 1979. Found during work on land.
Stone axe hammer; granular texture; light brown with white and dark flecks. Hour-glass perforation 5.5cm across at 'top', 4.5cm across at 'bottom', 3cm in centre. Length of axe 18cm, maximum width 10cm, thickness 9cm. Weight 5 1/2 lbs (2.5kg).
