Summary

This 17th century house has two storeys, is built of flint and brick and has a pantile roof. Much of the northern part of it is incorporated into a neighbouring house.

1983. Listed Grade II.
17th-century house. Walls brick and flint, partially rendered. Pantiled roof. Two storeys with attic. Gable end stack and steep-pitched roof. Two original window openings with 19th-century casement frames. Blocked windows in gable-end at first floor. Moulded brick gable oversailing. Original wooden newel stair
beside stack. Stepped chamfer stops at ground and first floor levels.

1979. Building Survey.
Cottage behind 'Cluny', The Street, Old Costessey.
Two-storied with attic. Flint cobble and brick rubble with brick quoins, dressings and chimney stack. Pantiled roof. 17th-century artisan's house, much mutilated and incorporated into later buildings. Newel staircase to attic beside stack. Bread oven made into cupboard.

Although the address of this building is currently No 76 The Street, it appears that it was previously No 80, being referred to as such in both (S1) and (S2).
