Summary
In 1979 part of an early medieval ceramic dish was recovered from the spoil heap of a drainage ditch on the edge of the Weeting Castle ditch.

Full Description
September 1979. Just northeast of St Mary's Church, Weeting. Found in spoil from trench for land drains, running along north edge of Weeting Castle moat and then northwest across field.
