Full Description
Wreck.
Originally intended as a blocking ship for Great Yarmouth harbour in World War II; instead towed to Brancaster and used for target practice.
Location from D. Edwards (NAU).
E. Rose (NAU) 14 December 1979.
22 April 1982. Grid reference corrected when seen from other side of channel by E. Rose (NAU).
Only three sections of superstructure now remain above the sand.
3 August 1997. Visited at low tide.
Three sections of wreck still remain, as before.

Inter-tidal survey (Environmental Zone 8), Context 943:
A steel wreck or hulk measuring around 72m long and 15m wide. Embedded in beach sand at the western tip of Scolt Head Island between TF 78198 46466 and TF 78313 46403.
