Summary

A Late Bronze Age ring, made of copper alloy, was found by a metal detectorist in 1999. The function of the ring is unknown although it may have been used as a suspension ring. The ring was made in southeast England or northern France. A fragment of medieval pottery has also been found during fieldwalking.

Feb/March 1998. Metal detecting in central area of previous find.
A.E. West (NCM) identified a possible Late Bronze Age ring, made in southeast England or Northern France (900 to 800 BC) weighing 8.54g.
Not a finger ring. For suspension?
Neatly made with central groove running around outside of D shape section.
