Summary

During the 1970s a large quantity of finds dating from the Late Saxon to post medieval period were recovered from here. These included sherds of medieval Grimston Ware, Saxon Thetford Ware, glazed post medieval wares. Several undated brick and tile fragments were also recovered. The sheer quantity of medieval pottery here suggess that a building stood here during the medieval period.
