Summary
This is the site of a post medieval windmill, known as Quay Mill, shown on Faden's map of 1797. The mill was constructed in about 1580, and dismantled in 1799.

On site of modern mill south of Quay Mill Walk.
Site of Quay Mill, marked as standing on mound on (S1).
E. Rose (NAU) 29 January 1980.
Erected in about 1580, dismantled in 1799.
