Found 'in the red soil part of Dun Cow Farm on the last hill ground next the level railway line over the marsh'.
Roman sherds and two red medieval sherds in association with 'finely worked flints.'
Site located on ground by E. Rose (NAU).

1977.
Houses being built along road on northeast part of the site. Topsoil about 0.5m deep on clayey soil with lens of black ?rootsoil. No finds except 19th century rubbish.
